What do you think is the most important point to good animal communication?

All forms of communication involve two basic steps: sending and receiving. We are ALWAYS telepathically communicating with our animals, so I consider the most important point is “how to send correctly”. From the perspective of telepathic communication, animals receive the pictures in our brain, just like our own subconscious. We all have the natural faculties to send messages ~ the key is in mentally sending the message in a way consistent with our intention.

Don’t take my word for it, try this: Pretend your dog has a habit of jumping (I know yours doesn’t, but pretend anyway). Your objective is to get your dog to stop jumping, so imagine yourself saying, “No jumping!” Now pause and say it again while being aware of what you are literally picturing in your brain… it’s an image of your dog jumping, right? Try it again. Imagine you know of a cat with a tendency for scratching the couch (as if any cat would!). Picture the cat’s claws sinking in and say, “Don’t do that!” Observe that nothing changes to your mental image ~ you continue to picture the cat scratching.

Your intention is one thing; the mental picture you create and is then sent and received is the opposite. Not so good. Your voice, your volume or emotional quality, or what you do is not as important as the picture you create in your brain!

A “no” or “not contraction” message cannot be accurately communicated to an animal just as it can’t be received by our subconscious. Remember carrying that special big plate across the front of the room and you were silently chanting, “don’t trip, don’t trip”? You did trip, as you were actually picturing yourself doing, and your response was, “I knew I was going to do that.”

As humans we are accustomed to thinking and speaking in “no” and “don’t” terms and sorting out the results. It’s a bad habit and its time we stop. We must use positive phrases not only for ourselves, but also for our beloved animal friends who live to please us. Literally, think positively. To do that we must also speak in the positive form of the outcome desired.

Make a list of the bad behaviors your animals have and consider that your own very words and thoughts have been reinforcing them. Now come up with phrases everyone in your household can use that will convey mental pictures of what you desire as the outcome, such as “four on the floor;” “leave it; go to your scratching post.” Be consistent and always mindful. You will be rewarded…
